Whether you are coming home to a leak or you are home and notice the leak, you will want to take immediate action to protect your home from any further damage. First you will want to contain the leak in some way.
Then you will want to call your contractor ASAP! A roof leak is not the end of the world. Your roof leak will be fixed and if you call us it will be in a timely manner in the most professional way possible.
If you do not see a specific leak, look for certain indicators:
- Wet pools of water on the surface of the roof
- Loose, broken, missing or crooked shingles.
- Bent, cracked, or missing flashings. (These are pieces of metal found around the vent pipes and chimneys of houses.
- Stained ceiling or actual dripping.
What you can expect from us:
Your job is our job! Depending on our list of jobs already, your job will be extremely short or long. We will start by ordering your materials then we will communicate with you when your roof will be fixed.
Once your materials have arrived, we will send a subcontractor to your residence to check on the house and the project. The day our contractor comes is the day your job will be completed.
You do not need to be home and remember that a roofing job is a HUGE project.
You will have your home transformed into a construction zone. This will be noisy and dirty. Especially during COVID-19, if you are working from home, it is wise to not be home during this time as it can be extremely disruptive.
We will leave your home in a better condition than when we arrived. Once your roof is complete, the Building Inspector for your county will inspect the roof.
